David Ackert has served in the corporate, education, and non-profit sectors as a Trainer, Marketer, and Strategic Planner since the mid ’90s. He has developed and implemented business development programs for national legal, accounting, and financial service firms. He has served as coach and advisor to over 200 CEOs, government executives, and VPs, hailing from local companies, as well as global entities like Disney, NBC, and TBWA\Chiat\Day.

David has written for and contributed to over a dozen articles in publications including the LA Times, The National Review, and the Daily Journal, and quoted in several trade publications and books on business strategies for the entertainment industry. He has participated on numerous panels and lectured in seminars on business development, effective communication, and time management techniques. He also teaches strategic planning and marketing courses through UCLA Extension.

He is the founder and leader of the Growth Group, a chapter of Provisors, which caters to Los Angeles business professionals under the age of 40, and is a founding member of the Advisory Board for California Executives. He is a recipient of the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40 Leadership Award.”

David is a published fiction author— his latest story “Stray” appeared in the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. He is also an accomplished professional actor, having performed in numerous plays, films, and television shows such as CSI:Miami, NYPD Blue, Six Feet Under and The West Wing.

He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Voices in Harmony, a non-profit arts/mentoring organization he co-founded in 1995 that provides extra-curricular and classroom programs for at-risk teens around the world. He was one of the nine people awarded as a "Difference Maker" from Ithaca College in its recognition of alumni who have made a meaningful impact through community service initiatives.

Prior to co-founding The Ackert Advisory™, Rebecca Nassi practiced law for several years in the private sector. She then transitioned into an executive coaching firm, and worked with attorneys and business owners in Los Angeles. She is a twice-published author and heads up The Ackert Advisory™ women’s initiative programs.

Rebecca graduated with honors from CSUN with a BA in English Honors and obtained her J.D. from Loyola Law School. She is a certified Executive Coach and Image Consultant. She continues her learning through the University of Santa Monica, where she is completing a Masters in Spiritual Psychology.

Rebecca has contributed her expertise to several non-profit organizations in the Los Angeles area, including Public Council, which provides legal services to the economically disadvantaged, and ARM, dedicated to researching cures for HIBM. She has organized multiple fundraising efforts for the Jewish Federation.

Jeff Tanenbaum joined the senior coaching team of The Ackert Advisory™ after over two decades as an accomplished entrepreneur. He launched four successful business ventures, and served in executive leadership roles for several national businesses and non-profit organizations. He was a Regional Executive Vice President of Tranzon LLC, a national real estate auction firm, where he orchestrated a merger with Remarketing Associates, Inc. (a national technology auction firm servicing Fortune 500 companies such as Apple Computer, ExxonMobil and Digital Equipment Corporation). Prior, Jeff was the Executive Vice President of the Great American Group for 10 years.

Jeff currently coaches such non-profit organizations as the Boys & Girls Clubs, Boys Town and American Heart Association to achieve greater fund raising results by employing sound planning, organizational and mission-centric strategies.

Jeff serves on the Boards of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo and Las Virgenes and the Southern California Auctioneers Association (formerly its Vice President).

Susan Braverman, LCSW-C, PCC, brings over 35 years of coaching and consulting experience to the Senior Coaching Team of The Ackert Advisory™. Susan has worked with organizations of all kinds to enhance workplace climate, increase individual and team effectiveness, help individuals and groups cope effectively with conflict at work, and develop leaders at all levels. As owner and founder of Crisis Management Group, Inc., she worked with some of the most challenging workplace issues, helping individuals and groups cope effectively with conflict at work. She is the author of numerous articles on workplace stress. Since selling the company and moving to Washington, DC in 2002, she has focused exclusively on coaching emerging leaders at all levels of organizations.

Susan is a licensed independent clinical social worker in both Massachusetts and Maryland. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is certified by ICF at the ACC level. She is a graduate of Coach Training Institute (CTI) and is President of the Washington, DC Chapter of the ICF. She is qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, and is certified to administer The Leadership Circle Profile™ and The Leadership Circle Culture Survey. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Michael Mark is the founder and President of Corporate Sustenance, an Executive Coaching firm servicing professionals in the Chicago area. He has provided strategic guidance to executives and service professionals for over ten years. Michael is also a seminar leader and retreat facilitator, and is one of the key outsourced facilitators for Mass Mutual Insurance’s training and development. He is a Senior Coach for The Ackert Advisory’s™ Chicago-area clients.
